WILL WELLES is a Brooklyn based filmmaker. He received his BA in Theater from Hamilton College and his MFA in Directing from Columbia University School of the Arts. He taught directing to Columbia undergrad students as a DIRECTING PRECEPTOR.

Will has written and directed numerous short films that have been shown all over the world, including two nominations at SLAMDANCE FILM FESTIVAL.

He is currently in development on RUSTLANDS, a feature adaptation of his short film RUST IN PEACE.

In his free time he likes to organize the KENT AVE MONTHLY MOVIE MARATHON series in New York, now in its 8th year. He lives with his wife (human) and two children (cats).
